Everything was explained in detail before we set off, landings etc. We had a great pilot (Im sorry I didnt catch his name, we were in basket 1)who pointed out so many things as we glided across the sky. “Fantastic day spent with the Maha Hot Air Balloon team. Everything went smoothly from making the booking onwards. I took my young family firstly on the hot air balloon - an early start of 4am but very much worth it to see the sunrise. We then were taken by our excellent driver (Fazal) to another part of the desert to go 4x4 dune bashing, including offering us the option of sand boarding (something we were keen to do but didn’t find easily on the GYG options). Overall a brilliant day out and one that will stay in our memories for years to come.”

“Awesome HAB adventure. Picked up by our driver with great comms letting us know he was ready. 40 minute drive to the HQ for coffee and briefings. Then again driven by our driver to the launch site. Ground crew is excellent, both take off and landing and we caught the final balloon of this season. Up to 2500ft and then dune bashing in a HAB over the desert seeing wildlife and the sunrise. Perfect excursion.”

“Programme complet et divertissant. Prise en charge à l’hôtel puis direction l’équipe de la montgolfière. Après un café de bienvenue et les explications de sécurité, décollage pour observer le levé du soleil à 4000pieds. Ballade de 1:20, nous avons eu de la chance. Puis retour sur terre. Passage dans les dunes avec notre 4x4, petit-déjeuner, tour de chameau, avons porté un faucon puis nous avons terminé par piloter un quad et un buggy. À faire !!!”

“Excellent communication about booking, pick up times etc. Morning of hot air balloon flight, earlier than stated pick up (which was fine) first attempt failed because of the wind. We tried and again 20 mins later, which was a success! However due to late take up we ended up getting to breakfast later than planned (although chips were stone cold!). This meant that the falcon had to be put away (even though is was out when we got there). We were also later for the camel ride (again they made us try the breakfast first). What should have happened was to phone ahead and confirm whether we could still do…”
